Apply practical thought- and mindset-management tools that support perspective, resilience, and emotional regulation
Align work rhythms, leadership habits, and decision-making with natural energy patterns to support long-term performance

What to Expect
You care deeply for your patients, your team, your family, and your practice—but how intentionally are you caring for yourself?
Dentistry places high demands on those who care. Left unaddressed, those demands can quietly erode energy, purpose, and joy. Addressed early, they can be managed—and even transformed into a rewarding long career.
Take this opportunity to step away to a quiet, nature-rich sanctuary for a day or more of focused learning, reflection, and relaxation. Learn strategies to reduce stress both in and outside the practice and habits that protect clarity, control, and fulfillment—so burnout never gets the chance to take hold.

Practice Alignment Architecture
Feeling like your practice—and stress—runs you instead of the other way around? In this energizing, solutions-focused workshop, Sandy Baird, MBA, a dental practice management consultant, guides you through real-world strategies to protect your time, your team, your patients, and your joy in dentistry. You’ll learn how to identify stress-inducing practices you aren’t even aware of, but that beat you down over and over again, inefficiencies that quietly drain energy and enthusiasm—and replace them with simple, sustainable processes that restore balance and purpose to your practice.
Drawing on over four decades of hands-on experience and a foundation in solid business practices, Sandy shares practical frameworks for communication, leadership, and daily operations that reduce chaos and rekindle confidence. You’ll leave equipped to lead with clarity, protect your energy, and transform your practice into a place where both you and your team can truly thrive.

Personal Alignment Architecture
High-performing dentists are often driven, capable, and deeply committed—but without intentional self-leadership, even strong performers can drift toward exhaustion. The most effective time to strengthen resilience and clarity is before stress becomes burnout.
In this guided, reflective session, Dr. Laura Schwindt, DDS, dentist and certified Heroic Performance Coach, introduces evidence-based mindset and performance tools drawn from positive psychology and performance science. Participants will learn to recognize early internal warning signs, clarify priorities, and design daily rhythms that sustain energy and focus.
This session creates space for insight, reflection, and intentional recalibration—helping dentists respond thoughtfully to challenges rather than react under pressure. Participants will leave with practical tools and a personalized framework to support clarity, purpose, and fulfillment in both professional and personal life.
-
Identify early stress indicators and hidden burnout triggers embedded in practice systems, schedules, and communication patterns—before they become chronic
Shift from reactive, overextended clinician thinking to intentional dental business leadership
Implement practical operating systems that create order, reduce daily friction, and support consistent productivity
Build and lead a motivated team that shares responsibility, communicates clearly, and supports sustainable practice culture
Design a balanced workday that protects time, energy, and decision-making capacity
Leave with confidence, clarity, and actionable tools to intentionally run the practice—rather than letting the practice run them
